Kingston Youth Services Hub

Parallel Studios undertook restoration work on the original historic leaded church windows at the Kingston Youth Services Hub building. The scope focused on the restoration of the original glazing to stabilize the windows while preserving historic material and character.

We designed and installed tempered exterior protective glazing to safeguard the restored windows, with as little visual impact as possible on the historic envelope, respecting original materials and character. Custom millwork was fabricated to integrate the protective glazing sensitively within the existing frames, and ventilation louvers were incorporated to allow airflow between the tempered and leaded glass, supporting long term durability.
