Custom White Oak Seating Set

Private Residence

Parallel Studios developed and fabricated a custom set of solid white oak sofas with an integrated dividing table for a private residence. The work responded to a challenging location defined by an irregular, obtuse footprint that could not be resolved with standard furniture.

Our scope focused on developing the functionality, proportions, and construction of the pieces to fit the space precisely. The dividing table was executed in solid white oak with carefully resolved compound miters, allowing the form to remain clean and understated despite the irregular conditions. The resulting set emphasizes material honesty, durability, and quiet detailing, producing a tailored solution that appears simple while being highly specific to its setting.
